Wanting to be unique and stand out in the recruiting marketplace, the company name was taken from the colorful legend of the LostDutchman Gold Mine of the Superstition Mountains of Arizona. In October of 2006 the company headquarters of Lost Dutchman Search moved to the state of Colorado and opened a new office in Estes Park.
